Our club welcomes divers from any agency to join and dive with us. We are an active diving club with diving trips running regularly across the UK and abroad.
Internal BSAC training is available for those that need to learn to dive - or to those that simply want to widen their diving skills into boat handling, chartwork and the planning and organisation of self run diving expeditions using club boats.
But equally, if all you want to do is dive with a friendly club - come on down and see us!

Sue is a BSAC Branch Volunteer of the Year
Sue Mitchell, our Training Officer, has been announced as a BSAC Branch Volunteer of the Year - winning a new Suunto D6i computer. Sue is a real inspiration, and we are so pleased her achievements have been recognised.
Diving 2012
Cornwall, Sark, Ireland, Uist, Plymouth... our club did some great diving in 2011. And 2012 may only have just begun, but we have already got some fantastic dives planned.
Ten of our divers are off in St Abbs this weekend (17th March) - they will be enjoying the diving in the Marine Reserve there! Trip report will be added once they are back!
A group of 18 of us are just back from our annual Easter trip to Cornwall, our Ribs covered a good distance and some excellent dives were done.
Our New Boat now has a Name: Cormorant!
Our old 5.7m Viking has been replaced with a new fully kitted 6m RIB, called Cormorant. The name was selected as a result of club-wide competition, where the club membership was asked to vote for their favourite from the 19 entries. The competition raised an approx total of £100 for club funds - for each entry, members had to give a small donation.

We are also pleased to welcome a number of new trainee divers into the club, pool sessions and lectures are underway for them. Also we are assisting the University club this winter with Ocean Diver training alongside our own intake.
