We are a long established, active and friendly BSAC dive club based in Reading, Berkshire at our Clubhouse in Palmer Park.
We meet at the Clubhouse every Thursday night from 20:00 to socialise, fill up cylinders, plan trips and to enjoy a drink at our very own bar.
Reading British Sub-Aqua Club was formed in 1953 and we are the oldest branch in the Reading area and registered as club number 0028 of the British Sub-Aqua Club.
We are a non-profit making dive club, run by members for the members. Qualified divers and beginners alike are welcome to become members. Qualified divers can join us on our regular diving expeditions, whilst beginners can enrol on one of the frequent initial qualification Ocean Diver courses.

Want to learn to scuba dive? Scuba diving is an adventure open to anyone aged 10 or over and Reading BSAC provides high-quality BSAC training for beginners.

Already a diver?If you have always wanted to learn to dive or are simply curious about scuba diving, then a Try Dive with Reading BSAC is the perfect introduction!
In the safe confines of the pool, a BSAC Instructor will introduce you to the basic skills and equipment needed to experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the very first time. Try Dives cost £30 for 16yr and older, £20 if under 15.
A typical Try Dive session lasts about 45 minutes. It involves poolside tuition on diving techniques and equipment, followed by a scuba dive in our pool with a BSAC-qualified instructor.
