For something a bit different on club night, hear about the opportunities for club members to dive-with-a-purpose and learn new skills in 2025 with the Nautical Archaeology Society. Peta Knott, archaeologist, diver and an Education Manager of the NAS. She will reveal the organisation’s training programme and project plans for next year and explain how Reading BSAC members can dive on Dutch wrecks, test drive ROVs, learn how to record shipwrecks for themselves and much more. Peta will also bring along a bit of shipwreck to give you a taster of their recording training and there will be real artefacts to handle.
